IPv6 Enabled For All Servers and Hosting Services

With the global IPv4 address shortage and continued increase in price on the secondary markets, as a result of the depletion of unallocated IPv4 addresses, the adoption of the IPv6 protocol is expected to continue to grow in the coming months and years.

MaxterHost has recently finished adding support for IPv6 traffic across all servers and hosting services, making sure that all clients' websites remain visible to all visitors around the world, irrespective of the Internet Protocols they are using.

If you have a managed server, there is nothing you need to do. We've handled the setup and enabled IPv6 on your server pro-actively. Only domains using a remote DNS or external nameservers would need to have their "AAAA" DNS records added manually, as listed in WHM under Home » DNS Functions » DNS Zone Manager.

Otherwise, if you have a self-managed server, please reply to this email or contact our Customer Service department to provide you with the IPv6 setup information for your server. This step is optional and only necessary if you'd like to add IPv6 functionality to your server.

If you have any questions or concerns, please don't hesitate to contact us.
